A non-profit association bringing together drone, eVTOL and advanced air mobility companies, researchers, cities and communities — so aerial transportation grows safely, responsibly and for everyone’s benefit.
Advanced air mobility is bringing flight into everyday transportation: delivery and inspection drones, medical and emergency flights, aerial surveying, and the coming generation of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Woven into intelligent city systems — vertiports, digital airspace management and connected infrastructure — it is already creating jobs and new services, from getting medicine to remote communities faster, to inspecting bridges, railways and power lines without putting people at risk.
Canada is made for this. Our geography, our aerospace heritage and our strong research base give us every reason to lead. The Aerial Transportation and Intelligent Cities Association (ATIC) Canada is a non-profit organisation founded to help the sector grow the right way: safety before speed, shared standards instead of guesswork, a constructive industry voice with regulators and cities, and real benefit for the communities underneath the flight paths. We welcome members from coast to coast to coast.
A constructive, evidence-based voice with regulators and municipalities — practical rules that keep people safe and let good operations fly.
Shared best practices and a strong operator safety culture — checklists, incident learning and guidance members can actually use.
An annual summit, demonstration days and site visits that put operators, buyers, researchers and officials in the same room — and in the field.
Workshops, youth STEM programs and clear workforce pathways — building the pilots, technicians and engineers the sector needs next.
Membership is open across the whole ecosystem. Every member joins the directory, the working groups and the conversation — pick the tier that fits, and we will help you get involved.
For companies in drones, eVTOL, logistics, aviation services and the supply chain behind them.
For pilots, engineers, researchers and enthusiasts who want to stay connected and keep learning.
For municipalities, schools, non-profits and media who share an interest in safe, beneficial flight.
Regulators hear the sector clearly when it speaks together — members shape the positions we take.
Every program we run starts from the same principle: public trust is earned in the air and on the ground.
A national network with regional chapters — urban, rural, northern and remote communities all included.
Tell us a little about yourself or your organisation and we will follow up with membership details, annual dues and next steps. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis — most members hear back within a few business days.
